XLR8R is a free publication in Washington, Oregon and Canada, and is only $2.50
elsewhere. XLR8R is a techno enthusiasts dream come true. Every segment of
the genre from rave, jungle, ambient, dub, to drum & bass are covered in
intricate details. Artists as diverse as Electric Skychurch, Spacetime
Continuum, Single Cell Orchestra & Plastikman all have features articles. There
is even an in depth look at the live music scene across the continent of North
America. This 76 page publication offers more about the techno genre than any
other publication I've stumbled upon. Not bad for musical movement that is
still totally underground on this side of the planet.
