Voltage: Issue 4
Seattle locals Voltage grace the scene with their first ever color cover, paid
for by the expanded advertisement seen throughout the issue. Once again the
magazine is broken into two distinct sections with articles on Pacific
Northwest acts including Noise Box, NuMantra, Ninth Circle, Sky Cries Mary and
AREA88. The rest of the issue is dedicated to other acts such as Atari Teenage
Riot, Hanzel Und Gretyl, Sunshine Blind, and Deathline International. The music
review sections has expanded a bit with a better layout, also of note is the
live review section, and the article on the health questions you should ask
yourself before you get pierced. Once again Voltage does an excellent job of
catering to both the hometown favorites and the International starlets thereby
insuring their continued existence.
