Resonance: Issue 11
Wow, Resonance has certainly grown up as they move away from newsprint and
indulge in their first ever glossy cover and white stock paper. The focus of the
issue is the overlooked Seattle electronic music scene and how it has appeared
out of virtually nowhere to demand national recognition. Unfortunately, they
only seem to be dealing with the popular electronic rage inside their fragile
new shell and have conveniently left out the entire Electro-Industrial scene in
their critical analysis. Instead the readers are subjected to interviews with
Laurent Garnier, Kool Keith, Trans Am, Riz Maslen, as well as articles on the
Seattle film festival, spite sites on the Internet and the newly redesigned
Northwest club calendar. Wake up Resonance, your parameter free music coverage
is beginning to look a bit subjective standing from this side of the fence.
