QRD: Issue 9
QRD is a quarterly, half sized, twenty-four page, photocopied magazine based
out of Raleigh Virgina. While the price of the zine is cheap at $2, it really
isn't worth the paper on which it is printed. The layout is horrible, and it is
barely readable, the writing leaves everything to to be desired, and I won't
even go into the lack of copy-editing. This particular issue contains an
interview with Pat Ogl of Thanatos & Projekt Records, a handful of music, video
game & comics reviews as well as a few short stories and poems. I'm sure the
editor of QRD really means well, unfortunately the zine comes out looking
rather pathetic. My suggestion is to go back to the drawing board, redesign
the look of the zine and obtain some better writers.
