I hesitate to consider calling Lost Prophet an Industrial band because of it's rather mundane vocals and simplistic programming style, yet it has a certain harsh quality that separates it from the usual electronic noodling of most Electro-Pop acts. True, the vocals are actually sung by someone who has talent in a rather straight forward manner, it's not like this is an album of ballads either. However it doesn't take long to notice that Lost Prophet desperately needs to work on it's lyrics because the ones printed in the liner note are terrible. Musically the project seems to be on more stable ground, yet there are still far too many preset keyboard patches to consider this a truly original act. Best guess is that Lost Prophet is a band that evolved from a hobby of toying around with music on some left over digital synthesizers. As a result, there is a great deal of over enthusiasm present in the music and but not quite enough talent, yet.
