Full Frequency is a band who seems to have a single target in mind and to do
it well. Simply put that goal is to make plain vanilla Coldwave music without
any sense of originality or redeeming value. True, they don't actually sound
like they are a carbon-copy of any other band in the genre, the simple fact
is, they also lack any qualities that would allow them to rise above the
currently overcrowded Coldwave scene. All of the songs are of a formulatic pop
structrure, the basslines are amazingly simplistic and the drum programming
seemingly consists of drum machine presets. I suppose it was only a matter of
time before bands started conviently attaching themselves to an up and coming
genre of music and it seems that Full Frequency is definitely guilty of this
crime. I firmly suggest that they go spend some time in the studio working
on new material that will allow them to avoid the redundance they currently
exhibit, otherwise they are doomed to crash and burn rather quickly.
Full Frequency are:
Corey Lancaster - vocals
Eric Sharp - keyboards,vocals
