This is the album that brought me out of my un-music stage (don't even bother
asking) - needless to say this is an excellent album. It is impossible to
categorize although you might say there is a vague connection to Haujobb just
because of the number of styles they can incorporate into the album (including
electro-pop, ebm, and classically-influenced soundscapes) and yet still
construct a complex and well-rounded album -- and the fact that I do believe
they really are that good. The vocals on a few songs are reminiscent of Snog
due to the deep, hypnotic creaking effect on them. This is not an intense,
in-your-face type of album; instead it casually seeps into you and before you
know it you're hooked. (Kevin Congdon)
