Ged Denton sure has been keeping himself busy as of late working with
Cyber-Tec, Cubanate, K-Nitrate and now his own solo project Crisis N.T.I..
This time Ged has constructed an thematic album revolving around the recent
news media blitz concerning alien abductions, invasions, experimentation's and
first contact. The mood of the music is one of hysteria reminiscent of the cult
television show 'X-Files'. Much of the electronic programming and vocals almost
suggest that Crisis N.T.I. is an extension of the work that Ged has done with
Jean-Luc De Meyer of Front 242 in their join project Cyber-Tec. Add a grittier
focused edge to the music, a concise theme used throughout the album, and the
logical progression from Cyber-Tec to Crisis N.T.I. is obvious. Riding on the
coat tails of the release of the Cyber-Tec Maxi-CD this album could not have be
better timed. Cyber-Tec only left me drooling for more of Denton's song writing
talent and Crisis N.T.I. has satiated me for the time being.
Crisis N.T.I. is Ged Denton
