Extreme grindcore guitar industrial bordering on thrash with the exception of the highly pronounced electronic programming. One extremely odd item about this EP is that the vocals are mixed practically right smack on top of all of the guitar, rhythm & programming. To elaborate, the vocals seem as if they lead the entire track driving each and every musical change. I don't think I've ever heard this particular mixing style used and I can't help but wonder if it was intentional or simply the vocal volume being mixed at a higher than normal level thereby creating this abnormal hybrid style sound. Whatever the true answer maybe, I think that little vocal trick saved this album from being dismissed as yet another crossover metal band trying to market themselves as industrial. The vocalist actually has a decent voice and with this particular arrangement the electronic elements of the music play a prominent role in achieving the coldwave crossover fusion that clicks so well on this album.
