Drooling like the gibbering daemonically possessed infidel that I am when I
heard that Alien Faktor had a new album out I dropped everything that I was
doing and acquired it through my usual channels. Alien Faktor is definitely
back and this time, "I will be your whipping boy." The album is designed to be
listened to in its entirety in one sitting much like you would view a film.
Each track depicts a single discrete scene but listened to as a whole the
listener can begin to appreciate the full effect of the experience. The musical
variation on the album is very diverse and in that lies its strength.
Everything that you enjoyed from the previous album is still present like a
fine tuned engine allowing the mechanic to focus on subtler aspects of the
inner workings of the device. "Desolate" was not solo project completed by
Thomas Muschitz alone, but in fact had the widely varied introspectives of a
variety of additional artists which only lead the album to be that much better.
Alien Faktor is: Thomas L. Muschitz
