Effigy: Issue 5
Effigy is a free, black & white, half-sized, thirty page publication hailing
from Ontario, Canada. Effigy shares much in common with early issues of
Industrial Nation, both in format and layout. The graphic design is
non-existent, and the printing quality is low, but with a budget of zero,
Effigy makes do. This issue contains interviews with Mesh, Dub War and Dark
Side Cowboys as well as over 30 album reviews. The writing could certainly use
some work, but what do you expect from a free
magazine with no real distribution?
