Black Moon: Issue 8
Black Moon is a bi-monthly, full sized, sixty-four page, color cover
publication that caters mostly to the gothic genre. About half of the magazines
focuses on music articles and interviews with the likes of Collide, Switchblade
Symphony, Thanatos, Chainsuck, Rasputina, Caledonia, and Baby Gopal, with the
rest of the features being collections of prose and poetry. The usual album
and magazine reviews are also present but the writing is extremely terse and
mono-syllabic. Obviously this is a magazine that caters to the entire gothic
genre as it evidenced by all the non-music features. Regardless, Black
oon is a very solid publication with it's single flaw being the poor
music reviews.
