This new Invisible compilation is mostly a collection of artists who have had or will have albums released in 1996. The majority of the tracks are remixes which appear on this compilation only or rare outtakes. The remainder of the tracks have appeared on each artists most recent album. In essence you are given a taste of the entire Invisible Records current roster from the ground up and what a diverse roster it is. Hovering at the experimental fringes of the industrial scene are SPASM and Dead Voices On Air. Prancing around the club scene are the likes of Sheep on Drugs and Psychic TV. Waffling back and forth between classical industrial and electronic deviance are Test Dept. For those who enjoy more of a guitar edge Pigface and Evil Mothers will be to your liking. Finally a band which refuses to be pigeon holed in any of the above genres is Lick who tries to be as diverse as humanly possible. If that cross section of music doesn't at least suggest one artist you'd enjoy then you really need to go back to being spoon fed by the likes of MTV.
